One of the world's most difficult grapes to cultivate, Pinot Noir is one of the most versatile food wines. Bright red fruits of cranberry, strawberry and pomegranate all intermingle with inherent earthiness and mouthwatering structure. Classic Old World examples in a more earth-driven style are found in the famous villages of Burgundy, while elegant, fruit-forward styles are found in the cooler areas of California, Oregon and New Zealand.
